Tony has worked in healthcare administration for 30 years. For 20 of them he built and ran outsourced revenue cycle management companies, handling the work practices hand off when they can't afford to get it wrong: provider credentialing, payer enrollment, contracting, and billing. He founded Medical Business Office and later National Credentialing Solutions, and sold both.
He now runs Ziurta, a provider enrollment platform built for every organization that has to get providers enrolled and keep them that way: medical practices, health systems, RCM firms, and credentialing companies. Ziurta is building the full enrollment workflow, from intake through payer approval, starting with Ziurta Revalidations.
On this blog he covers the regulatory, payer, and market changes that affect how healthcare organizations operate and get paid, from independent practices to health systems. His sharpest lens is credentialing, enrollment, and payer contracting, where policy and payer decisions hit an organization's revenue first. He is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
